|Gregory E. Rodgers, 50, of 402 Chestnut Street, Dresden, died Monday evening December 13, 1999 in the Bethesda Hospital emergency room.
Mr. Rodgers was born May 15, 1949 in Coshocton. Following graduation in 1967 from Tri-Valley High School, he served with the US Army in Vietnam. He was employed at General Electric in Coshocton, was a member of the Dresden Church of the Nazarene, American Legion Post #399 in Dresden, and was a firefighter and EMT serving with the Dresden Fire Department since 1996.
He is survived by his wife, Julie A. (Birkhimer) Rodgers, whom he married May 12, 1979; one son, Justin G. (Cindy) Rodgers of Dresden; two daughters, Jody A. Rodgers and Jil L. Rodgers, both of Dresden; one brother, Fred J. (Cindy) Rodgers of Frazeysburg and one sister, Pamela J. (Smiley) Smythe of Dresden.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest E. and Marjorie (Williams) Rodgers.
Friends may call 2-4 & 6-9 PM Thursday December 16, 1999 at the Vensil & Orr Funeral Home in Dresden. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday at the Dresden U. Methodist Church with Rev. Thomas Gates and Rev. David Leckrone officiating. Burial will follow in the Dresden Cemetery.
